AB4000 for production teams

The  AB4000™ is a lightweight and feature-rich broadcast-quality system (4Kp60 video through 12G SDI or HDMI interfaces). In this system, the single unit can operate as either a Receiver or a Transmitter. Each unit has LBUS and FS-CAN for Lens Control, thus, allowing focus pullers to control Lens motors from far, combined with wireless video in the same unit. This is a single-box solution for both video monitoring and lens control. With these new additions, the AB4000 is becoming a “Swiss army knife” that includes it all: Video, Audio, RCP, Intercom, Lens Control, Tally and much more.

Another great feature of this system is the 1-to-many support.  AB612 for professional broadcasters

The ABonAir AB612™ is a feature-rich 4K  wireless video link for professional broadcasters.  It relies on a 4K lightweight wireless Transmitter and a 4K 1U Receiver. The AB612 is a spreadable system that by utilizing the ABonAir’s fiber extender (FCE), can cover several zones simultaneously at an almost unlimited coverage range. Thus, allowing the camera teams from various several zones to wirelessly transmit 4K video directly from the camera to the media centers or OB trucks.

Especially where at times the difference between first and second place is merely a fraction of a second. Capturing the energy, vigor and challenge those superhuman bikers endure and broadcasting it to the millions of spectators around the globe is what makes this event coverage so special.

And what a challenge it is for the broadcasting teams as well!
