ABonAir launches the AB320HD

Tel Aviv, April 8th, 2012 – ABonAir, a leading provider of professional microwave Wireless HD Links, launches a new wireless HD product – the AB320HD™ Wireless Video Link.

The AB320HD™ is a high-end, feature-reach wireless video system enabling professional camera teams to send HD video content wirelessly from the field to an OB van, broadcast tower, or monitoring station. It is ideal for the transmission of high-quality HD content for a variety of broadcast applications such as Electronic News Gathering (ENG), sport events, and real-time reality show monitoring. The AB320HD™ system support HD and SD in all resolutions and frame rates, with a low delay mode of only 90msec, Camera Control Unit (CCU), Intercom, Tally/Cue Light, and more.

The system allows video transmission of up to 1000 meters. All these features are delivered in a compact form factor that is easily attached to any professional camera. The system has HD-SDI input and output to connect to professional cameras. Audio inputs are supported from line, microphone or embedded in the HD-SDI signal, and a 6-LED display indicates the received signal strength. The AB320HD™ utilizes the latest H.264 codec for video compression and OFDM radio for best coverage, along with specially developed RF algorithms to achieve professional-grade picture quality, while maintaining mobility, and flexibility of use for professional teams. ABonAir’s unique algorithms, embedded in the AB320HD™, deliver unmatched picture quality and stability. ABonAir’s video streaming technology, with its continuous bit-rate adaptation, re-transmit, and other uniquely developed algorithms makes the AB320HD™ the best solution available today.
