A dedicated booth to ABonAir’s advanced systems at Broadcast Asia 2019

For the first time ever, ABonAir, a leading provider of wireless microwave link solutions for professional cameras, will have at Broadcast Asia 2019 a dedicated booth to dispaly and demonstrate it’s advanced systems. For three days in June (18-20), the best-in-breed wireless video broadcast technologies and products will be on the display in Singapore.

AbonAir will display at two of its advanced broadcastng systems  – the AB512  system that combines CODEC and 7 msec video delay and the AB405 lightweight system especially designed for rapid deployment and event coverage. In a nutshell about the systems:

AB512  is the only Wireless Broadcast System with 7 msec sub frame delay. ABonAir’s AB512™ wireless video system enables camera teams to wirelessly transmit video directly from cameras to media centers or OB trucks. Built on a bi-directional radio channel between transmitter and receiver, ABonAir’s systems acknowledge the correct acceptance of each group of pixels, thus providing exceptionally robust and reliable transmission. The AB512™ supports ABonAir’s Fiber Coverage Extension (FCE) which enables connection of a single receiver to multiple FCEs in various sites (e.g. horse racing tracks – race track, stables and the winning circle) or even on completely separate sites (e.g. football stadium, basketball arena and swimming pool) all via fiber cables with unlimited range.

AB405 wireless video system enables camera teams to immdetely broadcast from the scene. The AB405 system was designed for ENG teams, and for video assist where link stability can not be compromised and picture quality must be high. Moreover, both transmitter and receiver are very light (less than 400 grams) and require zero set-up so they can ve easily dplyed and trasnmit video at no time! Built on a bi-directional radio channel between Transmitter and Receiver, ABonAir’s systems acknowledge the correct acceptance of each group of pixels, thus providing exceptionally robust and reliable transmission. The AB405™ enables video transmission of up to 750 meters (2500 feet) while utilizing full MIMO radio employing two antennas at the Transmitter and Receiver to enhance performance and ensure coverage even in extreme radio signal environments.
