The Bryant-Denny stadium, home field of the Alabama Crimson Tide football team is not only one of the oldest in the United States (built in 1929) but with over 100k seats, it is considered one of the ten largest worldwide! As such, it was hard for audience in the stadium and home to see, real time, every corner of the field. Cameramen were tied to the cable behind the camera, they could not move freely and coverage was limited to specific areas. It was really hard to display all on the large screens in the stadium and bring excitement home.

All that changed when ABonAirs’ turnkey solution for high-definition wireless video links for stadiums came in.
